1. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND that our customers cease immediate use of this DC-DC Charger. If you are unable to do so until a replacement or reimbursement is issued please monitor the charger when in use and completely disconnect it from your system when unnecessary (such as at night or when batteries are fully charged) to prevent any damage to property.
2. Contact our support team IMMEDIATELY for compensation directions, and to rectify the issue with this product.
   
3. DO NOT USE THE PRODUCT in hot temperature environments or in poorly ventilated areas as it may cause the product to malfunction at a higher rate.

Due to an issue concerning a power regulation chip in the product's internal circuitry, this DC-DC Solar Battery Charger With MPPT has been recalled for its potential to cause fire, and heat damage, should the product be incorrectly installed with little to no ventilation or improper heat circulation.

We have a few options in order to help our customers navigate this issue. Please contact us IMMEDIATELY if you have purchased a Solar Kit that included this DC-DC MPPT Charger.

In response to this issue, ExpertPower has initiated a recall on all of the affected DC-DC with MPPT units depicted above. We have sent out several notifications via certified mail, e-mail, and have tried our best to contact our customers over the phone to notify them of this recall. However, some of our customers have not responded back to our recall and we would like to include this information on our website in order to facilitate the recall process for those who may have missed our efforts to notify you of the recall.
