No, a single unit is limited to 120Vac output. For a split phase output of 120/240Vac, it will require a minimum of 2 units to do so.
02. Does this inverter have any capability to feedback to the grid?
The unit is not able to feedback to the grid whatsoever, however, extra precautionary measures such as disconnects can be installed for a peace of mind.
03. What batteries can this inverter support for BMS communication?
The inverter supports both RS485 and CANbus for communication.
04. How many soalr panels can a single inverter handle?
The inverter has two separate PV input ports, each port having a limit of 500Vdc and 18A. It is required to confirm that your solar array configuration does not exceed this limit for the inverter.
05. What monitoring capabilities does the inverter have?
The inverter supports monitoring through the WatchPower mobile application via WiFi, and the WatchPower PC software via micro-USB to USB or RS232. The inverter does not provide Bluetooth capabilities. More information can be found in the manual.
06. Does this inverter require a battery for usage?
For parallel operation, battery connection is REQUIRED. For a single unit, the inverter can be used with solar along with grid input without issues.
07. Does this inverter have any installation requirements?
Our inverter requires separate SPD or surge protective devices on both the AC input and for your solar panel input, as well as relevant fuses and breakers for your battery input. For more information, please see the link below:
The inverter has a 2-year warranty that covers manufacturing defects and issues that occurred during transit. Please refer to the “solar kit warranty information” found in the link below for more information:
